Are you a relative of someone in a care home or nursing home? Many people choose to label clothes and personal belongings — glasses, cases, walking sticks and slippers — with name labels. Our name labels are hard-wearing and made from good quality materials.
Product information
In care and nursing homes, several people often live under the same roof and meet in shared spaces. It’s all too easy for a pair of glasses to be left on the table, or for the knitting to suddenly be a needle or two short. With name labels, you can easily label your loved ones’ belongings so it’s clearer who owns what. Label personal items with stick-on labels. The stick-on labels stand up to 60°C washes and work on most things. Use them on the glasses case, the favourite mug and the slippers. They also work on clothes — just place the label on a synthetic care label.
Alongside stick-on labels, many people choose iron-ons to label the clothes of loved ones in care. Iron-on labels go straight onto the garment with an iron and are a permanent way of labelling clothes. With our combo pack you get stick-on labels and iron-ons together at a reduced price.
Instructions
Simple to apply, designed to stay put.
Tip: Don’t forget to label small items like eyeglasses and knitting supplies.
Peel off an iron-on label and place it where you want it on the textile. Put a sheet of greaseproof paper over the label before warming the area with an iron. The iron should be on a high heat without steam.
Press down and move the iron over the area for 10 to 15 seconds, or until the label has “melted” into the fibres. You shouldn’t feel any “edges” on the label when it’s been applied properly. Wait 24 hours before exposing the label to water.
