Are you a relative or friend of someone in a care home or nursing home? Many people choose to label clothes and personal belongings such as glasses, cases, walking sticks and slippers. Our name labels are hard-wearing and made from high-quality materials.
Product information
In care and nursing homes, residents share communal spaces and everyday items can be misplaced. It’s all too easy for a pair of glasses to be left on the table, or for the knitting to suddenly be a needle short. With name labels, you can easily label your loved ones’ belongings so it’s clearer who owns what. Use the stick-on labels on glasses case, their favourite mug and slippers. They can also be used on clothing — just place the label on a synthetic care label. Once applied correctly, the labels can withstand washes of up to 60°C.
Alongside stick-on labels, many people choose iron-on labels for the clothes of loved ones in care. Iron-on labels are applied directly onto the garment with an iron and are a permanent way of labelling clothes. With our combo pack, you get stick-on labels and iron-ons together at a reduced price.
Instructions
Simple to apply, designed to stay put.
Peel off an iron-on label and place it where you want it on the fabric. Put a sheet of parchment paper over the label before going over it with an iron. The iron should be on a high heat without steam.
Press down and move the iron over the area for 10 to 15 seconds, or until the label has “melted” into the fibres. You shouldn’t feel any raised edges around the label when it’s been applied properly. Wait 24 hours before exposing the label to water.
