Our pencil labels work on most small items, from graphite pencils and felt-tip pens to rubbers and rulers. They’re made from the same hard-wearing material as our classic name labels, which means they’re both durable and waterproof.
Labelling your child’s school kit makes it less likely that belongings will get lost or accidentally swapped. It also helps your child spot their own things — handy when they’re sitting drawing alongside other children. That’s why pencil labels are a real favourite for school kids!

How to apply pencil labels
Two minutes and the pencil case is sorted.
Before you start
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free.
Wrap and stick
- Peel a label off the sheet without touching the adhesive backing.
- Wrap it around the pen or pencil so the ends meet or overlap a little.
- Press down firmly so all edges stick.
- Wait 24 hours before exposing it to water.

What can I label with them?
Pens, pencils, rulers, rubbers and other narrow items where a regular name label would be too big.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery via Royal Mail is free. Orders usually arrive within 2–4 working days, straight through your letterbox.
Can I take them off?
Yes. Lift one end with a fingernail or tweezers, then peel the label away slowly in one smooth motion.
How big are the pencil labels?
The pencil labels measure 0.7 cm x 3.3 cm.
Can the pencil labels be removed?
The pencil labels are designed to be removed if desired. Use your fingernail or something else sharp (e.g. tweezers) to loosen the short end of the label. Then peel the label off in a smooth motion.
