Create your pencil labels

Pencils, rubbers and pens have a habit of going walkabout during the school year — with our pencil labels you can easily mark everything that tends to get lost. The pack contains 76 pencil labels that stay put even on the tiniest items.

Bring order to the chaos

Our pencil labels work on most small items, from graphite pencils and felt-tip pens to rubbers and rulers. They’re made from the same hard-wearing material as our classic name labels, which means they’re both durable and waterproof.

Labelling your child’s school kit makes it less likely that belongings will get lost or accidentally swapped. It also helps your child spot their own things — handy when they’re sitting drawing alongside other children. That’s why pencil labels are a real favourite for school kids!

Perfect for school items like:

  • Pencils and felt-tip pens
  • Rulers and rubbers
  • Scissors, colouring pencils and other small bits

And even though we call them pencil labels, they’re just as useful on all sorts of other things. Use them on bits and bobs at home, children’s artwork, football boots, lunchboxes or water bottles. Honestly, the only limit is your imagination!

How to apply pencil labels

Two minutes and the pencil case is sorted.

Before you start

  1. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free.

Wrap and stick

  1. Peel a label off the sheet without touching the adhesive backing.
  2. Wrap it around the pen or pencil so the ends meet or overlap a little.
  3. Press down firmly so all edges stick.
  4. Wait 24 hours before exposing it to water.
76 labels per pack — enough for a whole pencil case (or two).
Pens, pencils, rulers, rubbers and other narrow items where a regular name label would be too big.
Delivery via Royal Mail is free. Orders usually arrive within 2–4 working days, straight through your letterbox.
Yes. Lift one end with a fingernail or tweezers, then peel the label away slowly in one smooth motion.
The pencil labels measure 0.7 cm x 3.3 cm.
The pencil labels are designed to be removed if desired. Use your fingernail or something else sharp (e.g. tweezers) to loosen the short end of the label. Then peel the label off in a smooth motion.

Updated my review. I initially left a poor review because I was frustrated that my order hasn't arrived and had no response/updates. However, I have since been in contact with a team member and they have assured me a new order was shipped and I should hopefully receive the order soon. I've ordered from namelabels for several years and always happy with their product. I was initially frustrated but now satisfied that their customer service pulled through and helped without any further issues. Here's to hoping my order arrives this time!
