In the event of conflict, items b) and c) take precedence, unless otherwise required by non-waivable law.
3. ORDERS AND FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
3.1 When does the order become binding?
The contract is considered formed when you have received an order confirmation from us.
3.2 Reservations
We reserve the right to correct:
– typing errors (price, product description, stock status),
– out-of-stock items and obvious pricing errors.
If an order cannot be fulfilled we will contact you as soon as possible and refund any amount paid.
4. PRICES AND TAXES
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
The total price (including any shipping costs and fees) is shown before you confirm the purchase at checkout.
5. PAYMENT
Payment is made via the chosen payment method at checkout.
5.1 Card payment (Visa/Mastercard/Amex)
Card payments are processed by Adyen or their partners. We do not store your card number.
5.2 Apple Pay
Apple Pay is completed by confirming the payment in the Apple Pay flow on your device.
5.3 Invoice and instalments (Klarna)
We offer invoice and/or instalments in partnership with Klarna.
– Invoices are normally due in 14 days (unless otherwise stated at checkout).
– Klarna may carry out a credit assessment when you choose invoice/instalments.
– In the event of late payment, reminder fees, default interest and collection costs may apply in accordance with Klarna’s terms.
Klarna’s full terms are shown during payment and/or via the links: user terms · privacy policy · cookie policy

6. DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
6.1 Delivery methods
We deliver with Royal Mail and/or other carriers (depending on the chosen delivery option and the size/weight).
6.2 Shipping costs
– Letter post/envelope: always free in the online shop (where this option is available for your order).
– Parcel delivery: the shipping cost is shown at checkout before the purchase is completed.
Note: Letter post is normally untracked. If you want tracking, please choose a parcel option where available.
6.3 Delivery time
Orders placed before 09:00 on working days are normally processed the same day.
Standard production time is 1-2 working days and delivery time is approximately 2–4 working days, but these are estimates. Delays may occur during holidays, campaigns, carrier disruptions, etc. Letter post may take a shorter or longer time to be delivered.
6.4 Delivery address
Goods are delivered to the address you provide at the time of order. You are responsible for ensuring that the address is correct.
If you notice an error after ordering, contact us immediately at hi@hipi.co.uk. We can make changes until the order has been dispatched from our facility.
7. UNCOLLECTED PARCELS / CARRIER RETURNS
Uncollected parcels are not automatically treated as exercise of the right to cancel.
If a parcel is returned to us because it has not been collected, we may charge the actual costs we incur (return shipping/postage and any packaging) before refunding the remaining amount.
We do not apply any “penalty fees” for uncollected parcels.
8. RIGHT TO CANCEL (CONSUMER PURCHASES)
8.1 When does the right to cancel apply?
The right to cancel applies to consumer purchases (purchases by private individuals) under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and gives you the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided that the right is not excluded under section 8.5.
8.2 How do you exercise the right to cancel?
To exercise the right to cancel you must give us a clear statement within 14 days.
You may use:
– the model cancellation form (Annex 1), or
– any other clear statement (email is fine).
Send notice to:
Email: hi@hipi.co.uk
Address: Inkeria Limited, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
8.3 Returning the goods after cancelling
Once you have given notice of cancellation, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notice was given.
Returns are sent to:
Inkeria Limited, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
8.4 Condition of the goods – inspection and diminished value
You may inspect and try the goods in a way that corresponds to what you could have done in a physical shop.
If the goods have been used more than is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, you may be liable for any diminished value.
We recommend that the goods are returned well packaged. You are responsible for the parcel until it has been received by us.
8.5 Exceptions from the right to cancel (customised goods)
The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or that are clearly personalised.
This typically covers personalised products (for example name labels, bottles and lunch boxes with chosen name and/or design).
Note: Even if the right to cancel does not apply, you still have your statutory rights for faulty or defective goods (see section 9).
8.6 Return costs when cancelling
If you exercise your right to cancel, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have expressly agreed to cover this cost.
8.7 Refund upon cancellation
Once we have received valid notice of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (if you chose a more expensive delivery option than standard, we will not refund the additional cost).
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from when we received notice of cancellation.
We may withhold payment until we have received the goods back.
The refund is normally made using the same payment method that you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
9. FAULTY GOODS / STATUTORY RIGHTS – CONSUMER PURCHASES
9.1 What rights do you have?
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If the goods do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or rejection (refund), as well as damages in line with statutory rules.
9.2 Time for raising a complaint
You should notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered or ought to have discovered the fault.
For consumer purchases the short-term right to reject normally applies within 30 days of delivery; longer statutory remedies may still apply after that.
The overall statutory limitation period for faulty goods in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is generally up to 6 years from purchase (5 years from discovery in Scotland).
9.3 How to raise a complaint
Contact us at hi@hipi.co.uk and provide:
– your order number,
– what is wrong (photos appreciated),
– what you would like (repair/replacement/other).
Please do not return the goods before you have received instructions from us, unless we agree otherwise.
10. TRANSPORT DAMAGE / DAMAGE ON RECEIPT
Please check the shipment as soon as you receive it.
If the item is damaged on delivery, contact us within a reasonable time with photos of:
– the damage to the item,
– the packaging (if relevant),
– the shipping label/tracking information (if relevant).
11. PRODUCT USE AND SAFETY
Our products must be used in accordance with the instructions/recommendations.
You are responsible for any use that deviates from the recommended procedure (for example using too high heat when applying iron-on labels, or incorrect placement of stick-on labels).
This provision does not limit your statutory rights if there is a defect with the product.
12. PRIVACY
We process personal data in line with applicable legislation.
See our privacy policy here: Privacy Policy
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Text, images, design and other content on Hipi.co.uk belong to Inkeria Limited or our partners and may not be copied or used without permission, unless otherwise required by non-waivable law.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
If we are prevented from fulfilling our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire, war, natural disasters, major operational disruptions, strikes, lockouts, government measures or material failures by subcontractors/carriers), delivery may be postponed or cancelled for as long as the impediment lasts, without liability, subject to the limitations imposed by non-waivable consumer law.
15. CHANGES TO THE TERMS
We may update the terms when needed. The terms that apply to your purchase are those that were available at the time of purchase, as set out in the order confirmation and the online shop.
16. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
16.1 Contact us first
If you have a complaint, please contact us at hi@hipi.co.uk and we will try to resolve the matter.
16.2 Out-of-court dispute resolution (consumer)
If we cannot reach agreement, you as a consumer can refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. You may also use the Citizens Advice consumer service for guidance.
16.3 Governing law and jurisdiction
The agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
For consumers, the jurisdiction rules of UK consumer law apply, and any prior agreement on jurisdiction does not limit the consumer’s rights.
